KIND WORDS FROM OUR CLIENTS

Paul was great from start to finish! Very professional and followed up after the job was complete. There was a small issue with the door itself (not with Paul installing it) and he stuck by my side with Panoramic to make sure they took care of it. He was always an advocate for me as the client. The issue was resolved and I love my door!! Wish there was a place to post pictures, but that's not possible here. I do live in the Chicago Suburbs, so if you are in a cold weather climate, YES, you can still have these doors. I highly recommend Paul to install them for you!!Read More

Paul Zimmerman of First Option Design Build was our contractor who installed our Panoramic Doors earlier this year. Paul was an awesome advisor for the project and an excellent installer. We recommend Paul to anyone who wants a great contractor that does a quality job. We will use him again if the opportunity arises!Read More

Paul and his crew were very professional and communicated with me along every step of the process. We installed a 9 foot panoramic door system that turned out amazing! Couldn't be happier with the doors, well worth the cost. Total project time was quicker than expected.Read More

Paul Zimmerman will always be my contractor. Last year, he did a complete demo and remodel in my master bathroom, as well as a 3/4 remodel of my guest bathroom. I didn’t have a clue what to do with my master bathroom shower area and he rattled off several options, each with different variations that would suit my needs. I had had other contractors come in to discuss and give me bids, but none of them had the flexible mind that Paul has, not only with design, but with great money saving ideas. He is also willing to offer his opinions when I ask or when he sees my confusion over what to do. What I had in the master bath was an old shower, probably since 1981, with ugly tiles, impossible to clean, and worst of all, the sliding glass shower door that moved inside a track that easily got filthy and I despised cleaning. My flooring was so plain and ugly, the bugs couldn’t even bear to see it anymore. I also had the same dreary sinks and vanity. My guest bath I was just plain bored of. And I never did like the piping that showed behind the pedestal sink. Again, the drab floor needed a major makeover. Now I have a wonderful tiled wall for the shower. Paul knew just how to lay two rows of decorative tile, between which the large tiles lay in a diagonal pattern; above and below the decorative tile is laid in a straight type of pattern. He also put a little "bench" in the corner. Paul also discovered that he could create an inset for shampoos and soaps, so that is a great use of space. (He really knows how a house is built!) A curtain is not even needed, though I chose to get one anyway. I used the same tile for the flooring. And for the countertop for which I was considering a granite slab, Paul came up with the idea of getting large tiles instead. So my cost went from probably over $1,000 to something like $3.20 for each of 6 tiles. All of my fixtures are now in the oil rubbed bronze that I love, including the shower head which was recommended by Paul. Now in my guest bathroom, I knew I wanted a vessel sink. I looked at so many and found just what I wanted at the place Paul recommended. Found a great vanity, too. I also changed my mirror and lighting to go with my rustic theme. And my flooring says it all with the rustic; I absolutely love the stone. Well as long as I’m remodeling, I figured I’d change out the medicine cabinets and toilets, too. Paul recommended the type of toilet that sits higher than my current one. I love them! And they never fail to come up in comments from my guests!Read More
